NyxyCat began with a tiny tabby kitten, a chance encounter, and a name that would become the inspiration behind everything that followed.

One evening in June 2019, Cameron Clark spotted a small tabby kitten wandering between the legs of park-goers during dinner. Within minutes, she had made herself comfortable in his lap, and before the meal was over, Cameron had already decided she was coming home.

After a few days of searching for the perfect name, Nyx, the Greek Goddess of the Night, was chosen. That quickly evolved into Nyxy, the name of the curious, confident cat who would inspire the brand.

With a background in web design and digital development, Cameron created NyxyCat as a way to combine his passion for thoughtful design with his love of cats. What started as a personal project has grown into a curated collection of beautifully designed products created to support the natural behaviours cats love most: exploring, playing, scratching, resting, and relaxing.

Today, NyxyCat brings together carefully selected cat furniture, enrichment toys, feeding essentials, and comfort-focused products designed for modern homes and the cats who share them.

Because every cat deserves a space that feels like home.
